Childish Gambino - We Ain’t Them

Posted 4 years ago
Producer:
Childish Gambino and Ludwig
Album:

When listening to Childish Gambino, you can usually expect to hear one of two things. The first is Gambino’s braggadocio raps, and the other is the moments where we clearly hear the issues that Donald Glover faced growing up, something many of us can relate to. The latter of these types of raps shines through on his latest release, We Ain’t Them. Self-produced by Gambino and frequent collaborator Ludwig, We Ain’t Them starts off soothing but rapidly intensifies as the drums and bass kick in, elevating the record to another level that’ll increase your focus tenfold. Going in over topics such as career decisions and the criticism he’s faced so far, Gambino uses the record as an open letter and invitations into his life. We Ain’t Them isn’t (yet) attached to any project or album release, but don’t let that stop you from taking a listen and discussing in the comment section below.
