Chin Injeti's Peoples Mixtape

I know what you’re thinking. Really, I do. You probably saw the featured artist today and thought, “Am I familiar with Chin Injeti?” Although he may not be a household name, rest assured, if you listen to hip hop you’ve likely heard the man’s work as a collaborator with DJ Khalil on production and songwriting, including on Eminem’s Recovery and Clipse’s Till The Casket Drops. Currently, Injati is gearing up to drop his Peoples Mixtape, and today we have the second song released from the project. People 2 features verses delivered by none other than David Banner (who recently dropped his free Sex, Drugs, & Video Games album) while Injeti handles the production. With sharp piano riffs and robust drums providing the groundwork, Banner goes in full force, attacking the track like cheetahs on antelopes. And yes, I’ve been watching Animal Planet lately. Chin Injeti’s Peoples Mixtape hits the nets on July 17. You’ve been warned.
