Chip Tha Ripper - Out Here

Album:
Tell Ya Friends

Apart from Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and LeBron, I admit I wasn’t too familiar with the city of Cleveland until the last few years. Bone Thugs made me realize that Cleveland existed, LeBron made me notice where it was located, but it took KiD CuDi and Chip Tha Ripper to school me on Cleveland 101 via their raps. Gearing up to continue schooling doubters about his hometown, Chip is prepping for the release of his Tell Ya Friends album with the brand new single Out Here. Produced by go-to hitmaker Lex Luger, Here is full of quick drums surrounded by melodic keys that provide a sedative feeling which allows Chip to verbally float above the record. Tackling the topic of, well, stuntin’, Chip gives us a three minutes and fifty-four seconds of braggadocio raps. Tell Ya Friends is slated to drop sometime this month (hopefully), as Chip and crew have kept sealed when it “officially” drops.
