Chris James - Ghost

Love may hate Chris James, but MTVU seems to like him just fine; his latest single‘s official visuals have been selected as a candidate in the latest round of #The Freshman Vote, in which viewers vote for a clip by an emerging artist to add to the network’s rotation. To celebrate, and to help rally the fans to vote for his video (You can click here to do so.), the indie R&B singer has unleashed a brand new promotional single. Here, James’ own synth arpeggios and acoustic-guitar fingerpicking accompany him, as he pours out his heart to a woman in his life, pleading, “don’t go Ghost on a n**ga like me.” This plaintive jam isn’t attached to a larger set, but those feeling it should watch our pages for the latest on Chris James’s forthcoming debut full-length, L.I.F.E. (Love Isn’t For Everyone). Oh, and (at the risk of sounding like a broken record), don’t forget to cast your vote for Love Hates Me at the link above!
