Album:
Fantasy Ride Mixtape

Originally set to be released on December 9, 2008, Ciara‘s junior album, Fantasy Ride, has since been pushed back to early ‘09; contrary to rumors, though, the album has not been scrapped.  In fact, CiCi’s going full throttle promotion-wise – set to premiere her new single, Never Ever (featuring Young Jeezy and produced by Polow da Don) on January 5th, the ATL native also plans to release a prequel to the album, the Fantasy Ride Mixtape.  One of the mixtape’s tracks is a freestyle over the beat to Slim and Ryan Leslie‘s Good Lovin’ (produced by R-Les as well).  Together with collaborator and rumored beau 50 Cent, Ciara takes the opportunity to blend a little rap of her own with her typical smoothly sung vocals.  So, has the Fantasy Ride of ‘09 come off to a good start?  Keep checking back to the Booth for further developments (and likely a download link when the mixtape drops).
