City Lights - Fly Away

Previously featured in the Booth both on the solo tip and as one-half of Golden State duo The Seed, Uptown Swuite has joined forces with the Bay Area’s DJ FLOW for his latest venture, which goes by the name of City Lights. The duo’s collaborative debut and the inaugural release off their forthcoming EP, Fly Away is an introspective banger best enjoyed through quality headphones. Here, FLOW’s tranquil guitar-loop boardwork pulses in the back as Swuite reflects on the endless possibilities his future holds: “[As] the days of my life turn, the light burn brighter within / 26, I feel like a baby about to begin.” For Fly Away and many more fresh cuts, cop City Lights’ First Flight Up EP when it drops digitally this spring. In the meantime, you can keep it locked to our front page for further song releases off the project.
