Clear Soul Forces - Beats x Rhymes x Life

Posted 3 years ago

When crafting a list of the most prominent and influential urban record labels of all-time, it’s safe to say that Death Row is right up there, next to Bad Boy and Def Jam, among a handful of others. A label that you should include, but tends to be overlooked is Motown; I’ll take Marvin Gaye, The Jackson 5 and Stevie Wonder everyday and twice on Sunday! And I know Clear Soul Forces would agree. The Detroit quartet brings some soul back to their hometown on their new singe, Beats x Rhymes x Life. While members E-Fav, L.A.Z. and Noveliss all have very diverse styles, they are held together by their soulful, from-the-heart flows and conscious, almost spoken-work like lyrics. Helping out is the flexible, jazzy, boardwork of CSF’s emcee/producer, Ilajide, whose beat compliments three very unique approaches perfectly. Beats x Rhymes x Life, can be found on the group’s forthcoming, currently unscheduled album, Gold PP7.
