Anytime an artist drops a Captain Hook and Rufio mention on their record they’re alright in my book and Tacoma, Washington emcee Clemm Rishad does just that on his newest single, I Think I Love Her. Despite those two mentions, however, I Think I Lover Her isn’t all Peter Pan shout outs, but rather an expression of Rishad’s uncertainty when it comes to a particular young lady. With help from producer Lo_Def‘s bass-heavy, throwback video game-inspired production Rishad gets straight to the point on the song’s hook as he chants, “I think, I think, I think, I think I lover her. I think I love her / Nobody out here on the grind be thinking of her.” While I Think I Love Her isn’t attached to any larger project from the rapper his past tunes Never Satisfied and Windows are both available for free stream on DJBooth.
