Closed Sessions ft. Raekwon - Keep It Politics

Posted 4 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
DJ Babu
Album:
Closed Sessions Vol. 2

With today’s increasingly turbulent political climate it only makes sense that Wu-Tang vet Raekwon would Keep It Politics on his latest song release. While there aren’t any President Obama or Tea Party mentions on Keep It Politics it is a worthy addition to indie label Closed Sessions’ forthcoming MTV2 Sucker Free-backed Closed Sessions Vol. 2 album. Complimenting Rae’s gruff vocals and flashy lyrics on Keep It Politics is DJ Babu’s slightly laidback production. Although the song doesn’t feature a hook or any guest appearances Raekwon’s mellow demeanor and Babu’s equally chill production make Keep It Politics an addictively enjoyable tune. Keep It Politics, the third record to be released off of the label’s sophomore album, which will also include singles Game Face and Don’t Happen That Often featuring L.E.P. Bogus Boys.
