Colin Munroe ft. Young Buck - I’m Fine

Posted 7 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Beatnick & K-Salaam
Album:
Where The Streets Have No Name (Compilation Album)

Though Colin Munroe hit the scene as an Unsung Hero, it may be time to put that title to rest – we at DJBooth have been singing the North Gower native’s praises for quite a while now, and this new record should earn him another round of plaudits from our regulars.  I’m Fine sees the singer/songwriter putting a gently unconventional spin on a popular topic: the daily grind.  Over mellow, sampled production by Booth favorites K-Salaam and Beatnick, Munroe admits that there’s nothing wrong, per se; it’s just that all the hard work he’s putting in doesn’t seem to be bringing the finish line any closer.  Young Buck provides moral support on his guest verse, stating that life can be a struggle no matter who you are or how much you’ve accomplished.  A catchy cut that most of us can relate to, I’m Fine is set for inclusion on K-Salaam & Beatnick’s forthcoming compilation album, Where the Streets Have No Name (also featuring Booth-approved cut In Jamaica with K’naan and Buckshot).
