Universal Mind Control

This Friday marks the release of Wanted, the newest film in rapper/actor Common’s burgeoning acting career.  Once the red carpet premieres and press junkets wind down, however, the versatile Chicagoan will concentrate solely on his forthcoming release, Universal Mind Control (formerly titled Invincible Summer).  Following a collaboration with Pharrell Williams on the buzz record, Universal Mind Control, the Grammy award-winning rapper again links up with N*E*R*D’s frontman for Announcement.  Opening with the line, “Yeah this is hip hop baby, I’m finna take it to the tip top baby!” Common nudges the collective ribs of the industry with his talented left elbow.  And did we mention Pharrell spits a mean 16?  Originally scheduled for release this month, Universal Mind Control is currently set to drop this fall.
