Connor Evans ft. Andrea Martin - Cali Party

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
BHB
Album:
None (Promo Single)

Fresh off earning reader acclaim for Trojan Horse, a pensive cut premiered on our front page at the bottom of last month, Connor Evans returns to build more buzz for his next full-length with another fresh loosie. On this head-noddable jam, the Coachella Valley representative describes the sights and sounds of a typical Cali Party, from homegirls shaking that ass, to bros playing beer pong, to white dudes rapping (Maybe he was looking in a mirror on that last one). To back Evans’s perceptive bars, beatsmith BHB serves up a laid-back mix of piano, synth-strings and trap-tinged percussion. Though this joint isn’t attached to the project, those feeling it will undoubtedly find more to like on Everything Changes, slated to drop independently this fall.
