B.O.S.S. (Beginning of Something Serious)

Although rapper Crooked I has been active in the rap game for roughly thirteen years, label politics with Virgin, DPG, and Death Row have prevented him from releasing an “official” album.  Now the B.O.S.S. of his own label, Dynasty Entertainment, the Long Beach native is planning the Beginning Of Something Serious this summer.  On the album’s first single, Dream Big (an inadvertent complement to the buzz single of fellow SoCal rapper, The Game), Intriago gives a shout out to all his lofty goal-reaching friends.  Complimentary assistance comes courtesy of Akon, who claims that although he’s “on top permanently,” he “stay in the streets” to bring that heat, and producer Detail and his bass-heavy beat.  Before B.O.S.S., check for The Block Obama mixtape, mixed by DJs Strong & Whookidd.
