Crooked I - Struggle

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Tabu Beats
Album:

Crooked I may be the man today, but that wasn’t always the case. It took the Long Beach representative many long years of Struggle to achieve financial security much less carve out a niche in the music game. On a freshly-released single off Slaughterhouse‘s May House Rules mixtape, Crook looks back on the days when had nothing to his name but a few dollars and a far-fetched dream of rap stardom. Tabu Beats provides a foreboding, sample-laced beat to accompany the artist’s anguished autobiographical bars, and WhoIsHiDef directs the joint’s somber, gritty visual accompaniment. Featuring Struggle and much more, House Rules is available now for streaming and download in the Booth.
