Cryptic Wisdom - Hurts the Same

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Sinima
Album:

In September, Cryptic Wisdom made his grand entrance onto our pages with If You Knew, the lead single from his latest EP. Today, he returns to our pages with another fresh song release off the DJBooth-hosted set. Like its precedessor, which depicted the artist’s experiences as an elementary-school outcast, this cut features the Tucson representative working through past trauma—but this time around, the wounds are still fresh. Over Sinima‘s melancholy piano chords, the emcee spits about the shattering effects of a recent breakup, lamenting, “Ever since… you left me, Nothing Hurts me The Same.” Director Carlos Berber‘s official visuals round out the package. For this cathartic cut and much more, check out Cryptic Wisdom’s One EP, available here for free streaming and digital download. Additionally, fans can support the artist by purchasing the project’s retail version on iTunes.
