Cymarshall Law - This Journey

Posted 2 years ago
Producer:
Broad McBeans
Album:
Cyography

This week has been an emotional rollercoaster for Cymarshall Law. Today, two days after his father’s passing, the Jersey veteran is celebrating his birthday. To top it all off, he’s liberated the lead single off his next studio album. Appropriately, The Journey is an expansive meditation on life’s up and downs, encompassing lyrical reflections on Law’s personal and professional struggles as well as commentary on broader socio-political and economic issues. Beatsmith Broad McBeans backs Cy’s contemplative bars with melancholy keys and a clattering drum loop. DJ Phillie Blunt assists behind the wheels of steel, flipping classic lines from Jay Z, Gang Starr and more on the record’s hook. Cyography has yet to receive a drop date, but we’ll keep you supplied with fresh singles and release details as they emerge.
