Danny! ft. Gavin Castleton & Amber Rose Tamblyn - Evil

Album:

Evil seems to have a way of sticking with people and Columbia, South Carolina native Danny! just can’t seem to shake loose his demons on his latest, self-produced record. On the rapper’s newest single, Evil, Danny! addresses paranoia and more as he raps, “Nowadays I ain’t wired right, paranoia got me feeling like I’mma die tonight/ Somebody gon’ murk the kid for all of the dirt he did.” Backing the former Definitive Jux Records artist is Providence, Rhode Island crooner Gavin Castleton, who provides the song with its haunting hook. Evil later boasts a small surprise as noted actress and poet Amber Rose Tamblyn jumps on the record midway though, displaying her unsuspectingly airy vocals. You can find Evil on Danny!‘s Payback LP when it’s released on September 25, and you can catch the emcee performing the record during his appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon tomorrow, September 20.
