David Banner ft. Chris Brown - Amazing

Posted about 4 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
David Banner, co-prod. Swiff D
Album:
Sex, Drugs & Video Games

Anyone who’s followed the long career of David Banner knows that he’s a complicated man, an artist capable of dropping revolutionary calls to action one minute and club anthems the next. There’s nothing complicated about Banner’s new single though – Amazing is nothing but a catchy good time. The headliner goes Bo Jackson for this one, also handling production (alongside Swiff D) duties to craft a bouncing, seductive beat reminiscent of his hit Play. On the mic the Mississippi repper sticks to the pause punchline style, dropping off some legitimate laugh out loud lines along the way: “It only happens for a select few…no random / now let me shoot it off in your Mariah….Cannon.” (No, I won’t explain that to you if you don’t get it.) Throw in a bridge and a hook from the seemingly ever-present Chris Brown and you’ve got yet another reason for fans of multi-dimensional hip-hop to cop Banner’s upcoming Sex, Drugs & Video Games album, due out out for free download on May 22. In the meantime, check out Banner’s 2M1 Movement, which aims to show the world just how valuable music can be.
