David Banner ft. Rhymefest, Naledge, Twista - Something Is Wrong (Remix)

Posted 6 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
9th Wonder
Album:
Unreleased

Two weeks ago the sometimes schizophrenic David Banner decided to delve back into his socially conscious side with his stop-the-violence anthem Something Is Wrong. Well obviously Banner isn’t the only rapper that feels the need to speak up because he’s been joined by three of the Chi’s finest rappers on the remix: Naledge, Rhymefest and the lightning tongued Twista. For his part Rhymefest is his typically dope self, pointing out the poverty that exists at the root of violence (“Imagine if the Cosby kids had to rob to live”) while Naledge drops a gripping narrative and Twista uses his quick flow to inspire change. It’s good to see more rappers take responsibility for their communities beside Banner. Now it’s our turn. If you’re in the Chicago area come support the Anti-Violence Rally featuring David Banner, Rhymefest, Naledge, 9th Wonder and Twista and many more local celebrities, which has been delayed from Tuesday, Oct. 20 to a yet-unspecified date in mid-November due to overwhelming response. Something Is Wrong will be included on Banner’s collaborative project with 9th Wonder titled Death of a Popstar, which currently has no release date.
