David Dallas - Get Out the Way

Posted about 4 years ago
Producer:
Nick "41” Maclaren
Album:
None (Promo Single)

With its triumphant tone it should come as no surprise that Auckland native David Dallas’ latest record, Get Out The Way, was featured on last night’s episode of ESPN’s Hey Rookie: Welcome To The NFL. The Duck Down Records emcee seems intent on making his mark by any means necessary, rapping, “I kick through the backdoor, I climb through the window. It’s like I’m breaking a latch cause we here for the taking.” Tackling the production on Get Out The Way is Nick “41” Maclaren, who supplies the song with its melodic though slightly intimidating blend of strings and drum kicks. While Get Out The Way serves as a mere promo single for Dallas, his last DJBooth feature, July’s T.S.T.S., is still available for free stream and download.
