DaVinci ft. Freddie Gibbs - MYOB

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Al Jieh of Drums & Ammo
Album:
The MOEna Lisa LP

It’s been a few months since we heard from Cali representer DaVinci (not to be confused with Florida’s DaVinnci), but a new track with Freddie Gibbs is always well worth the wait. Clearly comfortable with Gangster Gibbs after the two toured together, for new single MYOB (Mind Your Own Business) DaVinci recruits a beat from Al Jieh (of Drums & Ammo) that’s supremely relaxed, giving a sharp contrast to DaVinci’s thoroughly G-ed out rhymes: “Pam Grier lookin b**tches want to pull my shaft out.” For his part Freddie does his best to remind eye witnesses they’re better off keeping quiet, ironically ensuring that the streets will begin to talking about the October 17 release of DaVinci’s The MOEna Lisa LP.
