Dean Swift x Geniu$ ft. Lucky - Prayer

Posted 4 years ago
Producer:
Geniu$
Album:

Boston emcee Dean Swift taps into his more serious side on brand new single Prayer, where he touches on the various struggles that he’s faced during his lifetime. Swift doesn’t hold back either, singling out his absentee father, growing up in a single-parent home, the constant turbulence of the streets, and much more. On top of handling the production on Prayer, Atlanta producer Geniu$ also lends a heartfelt verse to the record. Rounding out the song is Lucky whose smooth vocals make for a moving hook. As a bit of a bonus Swift has also released accompanying visuals for Prayer and like the song, the music video for isn’t at all overdone. It’s powerful yet genuine. There isn’t anything featured visually that blurs the poignant lyrics featured in the song. Prayer can be found on Swift’s forthcoming Unheard Of mixtape, which will be hosted for free download at The DJBooth.
