DeLorean ft. Big K.R.I.T. - Whip

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
J Kut & Niyo
Album:

You know you’re listening to good music when you don’t catch it all on the first listen. When I first gave DeLorean‘s latest song release Whip a listen it gave me visions of a slow ride through the city at dusk. The crawling clack of producers J Kut and Niyo‘s drum pattern hits on every bar, coupled with DeLorean’s in-your-face delivery, makes for a near-perfect driving/riding song. As if that wasn’t enough, the Texan recruits Cinematic’s Crown Jewel, Big K.R.I.T., to lace the track with his trademark southern drawl. And best of all, I can testify that after a few listens the horns and chimes have seeped deeply into my conscious. For more multi-dimensional music, check out DeLorean’s upcoming project, GRACE, which is still awaiting a release date.
