Deniro Farrar ft. JMSN - Separate

Posted 2 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Ryan Hemsworth
Album:
The Patriarch II

Today, North Carolina rhymesayer Deniro Farrar dropped the sequel to this March’s much-buzzed-about The Patriarch street album. Not wanting his project to get lost in the shuffle amidst today’s myriad high-profile releases, the artist has elected to grab listeners’ attention by liberating another standout cut off the project. On Separate, Ryan Hemsworth‘s plucked strings and shadowy synth ambiance back the rhymesayer as he details how the struggle has shaped his outlook on life: “I used to know the meaning of the word that we call ‘love’ / Due to this cruel world, I feel none of the above.” Unsurprisingly, JMSN proves the perfect addition to this moody banger, delivering soulful hook and backing vocals that enhance the joint’s ghostly feel. Fans can find Separate, previous single The Reasons and much more on The Patriarch II, available now via Farrar’s Bandcamp page.
