Dex Amora - Emergence

Emergence EP

During my college days I used to dread the walk across campus, especially in the unforgiving central Pennsylvania weather. Thankfully, I had the perfect playlist for keeping warm on the long walk to class, which included Nas’ The World Is Yours. Had I heard Dex Amora’s Emergence, however, it would have surely been included on the list right next to Mr. Escobar. Making his Booth debut, the Seattle by way of Minnesota emcee showcases his genuine style atop a feel-good, upbeat SoulChef production. As the production flutters, Amora spits with ease and oozes positive vibes. I don’t know what it is exactly, maybe it’s his smoother than silk style or maybe it’s the slick beat, but Emergence could make the coldest of walks to class seem like a summer stroll through the park. For more selections that will put a spring in your step, be sure to scoop up Amora’s Emergence EP, available now at the price of your choosing.
