After getting T.I., Rick Ross, Lil’ Wayne, Baby, and Fat Joe for the original version of We Takin’ Ova, DJ Khaled would be hard pressed to turn it up a notch for a remix.  With this in mind you might want to throw away your current set of speakers; the remix has blown the original version out of the water!  Joining Khaled are the dopeman Young Jeezy, R. Kelly and T-Pain (who have now convinced me they must share a studio), Akon, and Lil’ Kim—who sounds like she recorded this verse in her mid-90’s heyday.  If the seasonal calendar didn’t turn to summer when Khaled released the original, expect a heat wave any day now.
