Doley Bernays ft. Denzil Porter - Raise Your Weapon

MP Williams
Just In Case EP

When your average emcee wants to get a live audience hype, they encourage everyone in the house to put their hands up. Doley Bernays evidently caters to a rougher crowd than most; on his first DJBooth feature and latest single, the NYC rhymesayer instead encourages you to “Rise Your Weapon” as you listen to his bars. MP Williams’ quietly intense production, a sliced-and-diced sampling of deadmau5‘s joint of the same title, backs Bernays and fellow Big Apple buzzmaker Denzil Porter as they chronicle their ongoing struggle to succeed in the game. Matt Schaff links up with Williams to direct the joint’s official video, premiered earlier this week via MTV Hive. Like what you’re hearing? Keep it locked; while Doley Bernays’ forthcoming EP, Just in Case, currently lacks a drop date, we’ll keep you supplied with further details and song releases as they emerge.
