So Far Gone Mixtape

The winner of two 2008 Best of the Booth awards (Breaking Through in ‘09 and Best Underground/Unsigned Hip-Hop Record for Ransom), Drake plans to prove the first award true with this year’s release of his long-awaited So Far Gone mixtape.  Though the project still has no set release date, the Toronto native hopes to secure one on the strength of this newly-released record. Slightly remixing Santogold‘s Unstoppable, Drake enlists Weezy for an off-the-wall guest verse over Diplo‘s power-pop beat.  If that leaves you itching even more for the arrival of So Far Gone, fear not, Drizzy fans; as soon as a release date is set, DJBooth.net will be one of the first sites to bring you the news.
