Drake - Headlines (Chopped & Screwed)

Drake’s been doing a great job of maintaining his buzz. With all the dope records he’s released this summer, Drizzy’s proving that he really is taking his time with his career. So who better for OG Ron C to acknowledge dude’s meticulous longevity than to chop and screw Headlines, the Boi-1da-produced first single off Drake’s sophomore album Take Care? The upbeat tempo of the original is what, to me, gave the record so much power, but I’m sure after some smoke inhalation and a double cup of purple Sprite this chopped and screwed recreation, heavy with scratches and commentary from Ron C, would work some magic. The original version of the single is #1 on our new Rap chart, so it’ll be interesting to see how the Booth reacts to Ron’s version. Have at it people…
