Drop City Yacht Club ft. Jeremih - Crickets

Kristo
Album:
None (Promo Single)

Fresh off inking a major deal with A&M/Octone, THX, A. Wolf and Kristo are no longer the music-game equivalent of first-year students. Thus, the Golden State crew have traded in their old moniker, “The Freshmen,” to the more upscale “Drop City Yacht Club.” Name change aside, the trio don’t plan on switching up their style now that they’re in the big leagues. Rather, they’re going to do the same dope sh*t, only bigger. This freshly-released update of May 2012 single Crickets is a case in point. Retaining all the elements that made the cut a hit with our readers when first we featured it, the record receives an extra dose of pop appeal courtesy of heavyweight hookman Jeremih (replacing original guest Allen I). A stylish lyric video by Don Tyler rounds out the package. This rendition of Crickets is set for inclusion on a forthcoming free mixtape from the Yacht Club. Keep it locked for further details on the project, which as yet lacks both a title and a drop date.
