Dujeous ft. Skyzoo - Throne (Remix)

Posted 4 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Taylormade Sounds
Album:
Dusk Til Dawn Mixtape

Back in the day, you’d challenge your rival to a duel by throwing down a gauntlet. Well, you can consider Duejous’ latest feature an iron glove spiked in the faces of rap’s reigning heavyweights. On this newly-leaked remix off their forthcoming street album, making its world premiere right here in the Booth, the seven-man crew lay claim to The Throne—or “thrones,” as the case may be—in verses brimming with aggressive, polysyllabically-rhymed lyrical fire (“You’re lost in the stars while I’m awesome with bars / I’m a force to reckoned with, those chairs are ours.”) Joining the group over Taylormade Sounds’ string-led sample work, Brooklyn mic-murderer (and freestyle series alumnus) Skyzoo brings a cinematic eye to his characteristically complex middle 16. How about it, Booth readers—are Dujeous destined to become hip-hop’s royal family? If you’re leaning toward the affirmative, then you won’t want to miss the rest of the new, unreleased, and perviously-released material set for inclusion on their From Dusk Til Dawn mixtape, dropping sometime prior to the February 29, arrival of their Day in Day Out LP.
