Gravity may seem like a simple matter of,”What goes up, Must Come Down,” but in reality it’s one of the most fundamental forces in the universe, arising from a curvature in the very fabric of space-time. Similarly, the attraction that hip-hop heads feel to a talented emcee like Element is actually rooted in the density of dopeness particles in the luminiferous aether, and… yeah, I’m totally making sh*t up. Actually, the appeal of the T-dot repper’s latest single is about the fundamental forces of hot beats and rhymes. Junia T provides the latter, flipping a spacey sample from the Allen Parsons Project’s What Goes Up as Element spits about his quest to take his game to ever-greater heights. Two fellow Ontario reppers lend a hand on the guest tip: T-Dot’s Lord Quest on the opening verse, who discusses how his reality clouds the vision of his future, and Mississauga’s Jamia-T for a metaphysically-inclined closing contribution.
