Awaken

Fitting that after the World Series kicked off last night between the Texas Rangers and the St.Louis Cardinals, Connecticut representer Elite has released the latest cut off of his forthcoming debut, Last Round. On the heels of his last self-produced feature Everybody But Me, The DJBooth Freestyle Series alum handles the production once again on Last Round, layering heavy bass over moving piano riffs. On the mic, Elite shows why he has created a buzz in the hip hop community with two solid verses, making a name for himself outside of his association with J. Cole’s Dreamville team. Elite’s upcoming album, Awaken, is set to be released on Remembrance Day (November 11), so be sure to check it out!
