Erik Flowchild ft. Add-2 - Walk in the Park

Featuring:
Producer:
Stray Shotz
Album:
The Delivery Boy

Out-and-out hate is for amateurs—if you really want to get under someone’s skin, try saying something that can’t be countered with a simple, “Nuh-uh.”  Like, “You’ve got to work on your delivery.”  When Ontario emcee Erik Flowchild received that bit of constructive criticism, he didn’t just put his fingers in his ears and go, “La la la,” as so many others would have done; instead he took the high road, setting out to silence his doubters by showcasing his finely-honed skills on a brand new mixtape, aptly titled The Delivery Boy.  If Flowchild’s first Booth feature, A Walk In The Park, is any indication, his verbal workouts have paid off and then some—over Stray Shotz’ euphoric, old-school sample work, he spits his braggadocio-heavy verses with such effortlessly acrobatic ease that even the most jaded listeners will be too busy bobbing their heads to hate, and Chi-town’s Add-2 turns in a similarly gymnastic performance on the front end. AWITP comes with a combination of sunny, feel-good appeal and blistering energy that’s hard to come by—to put it simply, this track delivers.  Those curious what else Flowchild’s got stashed away in the back of his Canada Post truck should keep it locked to Booth for release info on his forthcoming mixtape.
