Fortunate Ones ft. Mike Higbee - A Quickie During Lunch Break

What Are You Doing Tomorrow? EP

No, Fortunate Ones’ latest feature doesn’t find the Jersey duo sneaking away from the workplace to get it in during their federally-mandated 30 minutes. In fact, I have no idea what the title “A Quickie During Lunch Break” has to do with this lead EP single—unless it refers to the song itself, listening to which would certainly be a dope way to spend 3:36 of that half-hour. In any case, those who tune in expecting some broom-closet action will stay for the crew’s psychedelic, genre-bending production and poetic bars. Joining the headliners as they deliver their oblique reflections on life, the universe and the power of music, guest artist Mike Higgbee contributes some dazed chorus vocals as well as busting out his electric guitar on the record’s outro. Digging it? Keep it locked for more fresh tunes and release details leading up to the as yet-unscheduled arrival of What Are You Doing Tomorrow?
