Freddie Gibbs & Madlib ft. BJ the Chicago Kid - Shame

Posted 3 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Madlib
Album:

Does a one-night stand have to end in a “walk of Shame,” or can it be the stepping stone to something more? That’s the dilemma that Freddie Gibbs broaches on his latest feature, the newly-released, Jonah Schwartz-directed video for the title track off his collaborative set with Madlib. Here, Gibbs’ project collaborator crafts a wistful, sampled beat to back the Gary, Indiana rhymesayer as he addresses a jump-off. BJ the Chicago Kid (who was recently featured in an exclusive Outside the Booth interview) contributes smooth guest vocals to the record. Gibbs and Madlib’s Shame EP is available here for digital purchase, and fans can hear more from BJ on Pineapple Now & Laters, released to record stores and online retailers in early May.
