Game‘s had a good run, but his status has waned over the years, as younger, hungrier emcees have emerged to contest his position at the top of the West Coast pecking order… is what I’d say if I had a death wish. On Bigger Than Me, the lead single off his sixth full-length, Jayceon Taylor reminds us that he still towers above just about everyone else doing it, and threatens to back his assertions up with violence if anyone’s foolish enough to say different (“N**gas talkin’ that sh*t bout a new generation / man, f**k you n**gas, I’ll slash your f**king faces.”). His aggressive bars come backed by the sampled production of Mosley. Feeling it?
