Gameboi - Illest of Individuals

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
DaG
Album:
None (Promo Single)

Even if you were to lick the railings of every car in the New York City subway system, you couldn’t make yourself as sick as Gameboi. Murdering mics is simply in the man’s blood. There is, however, hope: listen closely to the Ann Arbor, Michigan repper’s latest promotional single and you just might find yourself growing flyer through osmosis. Making its world premiere on our front page, Illest of Individuals is a brag session with a breezy, throwback feel. DaG flips a eerily-familiar sample (anyone ID it?) to back the artist’s self-assured bars, topping the record off with a hook featuring samples from Slum Village‘s Get Dis Money and AZ‘s Gimme Yours. Not attached to any forthcoming project, this joint should nonetheless get fans amped for more fresh tunes from the Midwestern buzzmaker. As always, keep it locked for the latest.
