GemStones (a.k.a. Gemini) ft. Lupe Fiasco & Pooh Bear -  We On

Posted 9 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Jaguar Skills
Album:
Troubles of the World

Coming straight from the Chi is up-and-coming rapper/singer, GemStones, who is ready to unleash his debut album, Troubles of the World, off Lupe Fiasco‘s label, 1st & 15th Entertainment.  On his new single, We On, he and Lupe give the hip-hop world a taste of Chicago.  Their flow is fast (a Chicago trend), and if your not a Midwesterner it might take a few listens for you to decipher everything they’re saying.  Once you can understand it though, you’ll appreciate how Gem and Lupe share the skill set of eccentrically beautiful lyricism.  Add a soulful hook from Pooh Bear and classical-sounding production from English duo Jaguar Skills, and you get a single that should land GemStones (a.k.a Gemini for trademarked reasons) among Chi-Town’s elite.
