Get Busy Committee ft. Xzibit, Paul Wall, Murs & Brevi - Dancin’ on Ya Grave (Remix)

Posted about 6 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Scoop Deville
Album:
TBD

Sure, with a title like Dancin’ on Ya Grave you knew this record would be mean, but you couldn’t have possibly guessed just how mean until you pressed play on Get Busy Committee’s new offering, which finds Xzibit, Paul Wall, Murs, and Brevi joining Committee members Ryu, Apathy and Scoop Deville for a remix to the super crew’s official single. Words cannot describe how hard this Scoop beat goes, so I’ll just have to leave you with a warning to expect chiropractic problems from the head-nodding this eerie, sample-driven banger’s sure to elicit. Fittingly, we get a handful of aggressive emcees to match the aggressive board work: while we knew we could expect hard rhymes from the usually vicious Ryu, Apathy, Brevi and Mr. X to the Z, somehow even the usually more mellow Wall and Murs find themselves in a mean mood for their sections. My advice? If you value your life, stay far away from Dancin’ on Ya Grave - these boys are not playing! This homicidal remix isn’t currently attached to a larger project, but you can count on the DJBooth to let you know when one manifests.
