The Ruler Is Back

Upset that hip-hop has gone from a “platform for self-expression, creativity, and respect” to a “high school popularity contest,” South Miami native GhostWridah has decided that its time hip-hop be given a new leader.  Judging from his verses on the J Cardim-produced single, Born & Raised, listeners should be able to feel his passion with every line delivered.  While the song’s chosen collaborator, Shawty Lo, might not be lyrically capable of backing up the message, GhostWridah could competently control the track even without any assistance.  Born & Raised will appear on the new album, The Ruler is Back, dropping later this month.
