Gift of Gab ft. Del the Funky Homosapien & Brother Ali - Dreamin’

Posted 6 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Headnodic
Album:
Escape to Mars

They say that in the Bay they do things a little different, and if you need proof that the saying’s true you need look no further than Northern California, an area overflowing with creative emcees, including the always swift-tongued Gift of Gab - who’s deservedly making his debut on DJBooth with his new cut Dreamin’. Over an appropriately dreamlike beat from Headnodic (of the Crown City crew), Gift of Gab drops another one of his trademark verbally acrobatic, alliterate flows, pausing only long enough to bring on guest verses from the always quality Minneapolis native Brother Ali and the consistently dope Del the Funky Homosapien (who’s maybe the Bay’s craziest rapper, and that’s saying something). Dreamin’ is off Gift of Gab’s upcoming album Escape to Mars, due out November 3 and can be downloaded now on Gift’s MySpace page. Keep it locked to DJBooth.net for more from this promising Bay Area artist.
