Gilbere Forte’ ft. Big K.R.I.T. - Black Soul

Posted 4 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Don Cannon & Raak
Album:
Some Dreams Never Sleep EP

With the release of his latest EP just a few short days away, Gilbere Forte’s returned to raise awareness with one more fresh leak off the project. Backed by the determination-drenched, Chipmunk-sampled collaborative production of Don Cannon and Forte’s constant production partner Raak bumping in the back, the Philly phenom and fellow Booth favorite Big K.R.I.T. (who’s a very busy man today in the collab department) chronicle their ceaseless efforts to “keep that Black Soul alive.” While I’ll leave it to our commenters to decide whether or not they were successful in their mission, there’s no doubt that between Krizza’s riding rhymes and Gilbere’s poignant lyricism there’s at least enough soul here to make you feel something. If that something you’re feeling feels like a desire to hear more from the freestyle series alumnus and Uncontested EP contributor, check out Forte’s Some Dreams Never Sleep EP when it hits the ‘net on Monday, October 3.
