Gilbere Forte’ ft. The Kickdrums - Hello

Featuring:
Producer:
The Kickdrums, Raak
Album:
Some Dreams Never Sleep EP

Why live in boring old reality, when you can create your own instead? A firm believer in the power of dreams to shape the external world, Booth fave Gilbere Forte shares his uniquely dope form of idealism on his latest EP leak: “My philosophy is, your imagination is your reality. Just watch what I do with it.” Originally produced by Cleveland duo The Kickdrums but presented here in remixed form courtesy of frequent Forte collaborator Raak, Hello comes backed by a driving blend of tension-fraught-strings and moody guitar red over a driving rock beatback. Needless to say, the freestyle series alumnus (and Uncontested EP contributor) comes with rhymes to match his colleagues’ cinematically sweeping production, showing off his hyperkinetic flows as he laces the beat with fist-pumping motivational rhymes: “Stand tall and repeat this: no woman or man can defeat this!.” Has this inspirational banger left you amped and ready to take on the world? More awaits on Forte’s Some Dreams Never Sleep EP, due out October 11. In the meantime, readers can peep the project’s official trailer here.
