Gilbere Forte’ ft. Active Child - Nolita

Posted 3 years ago
Producer:
RAAK
Album:

With the ink still drying on his contract with Epic Records and a stellar mixtape lead single under his belt, Gilbere Forte’ could hardly be in a better position, career-wise. Romantically? That’s quite a different story. Nolita, single numero dos off the DJBooth fave’s next street album, finds him haunted by bittersweet memories of a woman who once left him high and dry. RAAK reprises his role behind the mixing boards, coming together with harpist Active Child (who also provides hook and backing vocals) to craft a moody instrumental backdrop for Forte’s lyrical tale of love and loss. Pray, Forte’s debut project via Anigma/Epic, is slated to drop digitally May 15. Those digging this single will be able to cop it via iTunes one day prior, on the 14th.
