GLC ft. King Chip & Chevy Woods - Holdin

Posted 2 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Mr. Live
Album:
Ism Churchill

Earlier this week, on a Hassan Khaffaf-assisted single off his next full-length, GLC let the world know in no uncertain terms that he was still the Man. Before he held that title, however, the Chi-town repper was just another broke striver with big dreams. On the freshly-released follow-up single, the leader of the Ism movement summarizes the trajectory of his life to date: “At first a n**ga didn’t have sh*t, now it’s safe to say that I’m Holdin.” Joining GLC over project co-headliner Mr. Live‘s densely-layered synth boardwork, Cleveland phenom King Chip and Pittsburgh representative Chevy Woods celebrate their own journey to financial solvency (and bust a few shots at their haters) in aggressive guest verses. Feeling it? More is just around the corner; Ism Churchill is scheduled to drop digitally this Thursday, December 12.
