Gucci Mane ft. Waka Flocka & Young Thug - SHINE

Album:
Young Thugga Mane La Flare

Give me a second; I just gotta grab some shades to protect my eyes from the copious amount of light bouncing off Gucci Mane‘s latest feature. Everyone properly attired? Then it’s time to hit play on SHINE, a freshly-minted single off Gucci Mane‘s forthcoming collaborative mixtape with A-Town upstart Young Thug. Here, an unknown beatsmith’s interlocking synth lines and thumping kick drum set the mood as the Brick Squad capo spits about his flashy, yet down-to-earth lifestyle: “Million dollar n**ga but I still eat Church’s.” Thug lends his Autotuned flow to the final verse, as well as delivering a sung hook. Quashing rumors that he and Gucci are beefing, Waka Flocka contributes a hoarse opener. Gucci and Thug are slated to drop their joint Young Thugga Mane La Flare street album April 1, which will also see the release of the former’s latest solo tape, Brick Factory.
