Gym Class Heroes ft. Lil Wayne & Dre - Don’t Tell Me It’s Over

Posted 7 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Cool & Dre
Album:
Unreleased

On September 9, hip-hop/indie rock group Gym Class Heroes will release their fourth studio album, The Quilt.  Arguably their most rap-influenced project to date, Quilt includes tracks with Busta Rhymes, The-Dream, and Estelle.  Unfortunately, not all their collaborations could make the album’s final cut, as evidenced by the obligatory “haters” track, Don’t Tell Me It’s Over.  As front man Travis McCoy exposes’ the dissenters’ desire to be just as big as he is, the king of just about everything hip-hop in ‘08, Weezy F Baby, hops on to address his own haters.  Cool & Dre provide the background beat that accompanies Disashi Lumumba-Kasongo, Eric Roberts, and Matt McGinley‘s instrumentation.  Although Don’t Tell Me It’s Over is an unreleased track, don’t be surprised if it is included as a bonus patch on the retailers quilt.

Note:  The streaming of “Don’t Tell Me It’s Over” has temporarily been suspended.
