Hardwell ft. Matthew Koma - Dare You

None (Promo Single)

Let’s play a little game of Truth or Dare. I’ll go first: I Dare You to take a listen to the latest single (and first DJBooth feature) from Hardwell. The Dutch EDM phenom recently took #1 on DJ Mag‘s year end “Top 100 DJs Poll,” and this cut leaves no doubt as to why. A skillful mix of radio-ready melody and dancefloor appeal, his beat builds from unadorned guitar riffs to a driving, synth-drenched chorus. Long Island singer/songwriter Matthew Koma (a fellow Booth newcomer) complements the cut’s soaring vibe with verses that urge listeners to cut loose and let go of their inhibitions, and an unknown director’s official visuals round out the package. Now, tell me the truth: are you feeling it? If the answer’s “yes,” you can cop the record now via iTunes, where it was released for digital purchase in early December.
