Hi-Tek ft. Bow Wow, Krayzie Bone & Bootsy Collins - Ohio Players

Posted 2 years ago
Featuring:
Producer:
Hi-Tek
Album:
None (Promo Single)

What do veteran producer Hi-Tek, rapper Bow Wow, Bone Thugs member Krayzie Bone and funk legend Bootsy Collins have in common? A number of things, in all likelihood, but the answer I’m looking for is that they all hail from the Buckeye State. On Tek’s new single, he joins forces with the aforementioned Ohio Players (borrowing the title, of course, from the ‘70s funk-soul greats) for a larger-than-life hip-hop tribute to their mutual home turf. Bootsy provides spoken ad-libs on the front and back, leaving Bow and Krayzie free to flex their flows over the headliner’s blistering, brass-led production. Plays is just a promo cut, but fans craving more from Hi-Tek can always check out My Piano, featured on our front page way back in ‘07.
